Warrior Volunteer Application
VOLUNTEER SERVICE ONLY – NO PAID POSITIONS
Thank you for your interest in serving as a Gideonite Warrior. This application is for a volunteer-only role dedicated to unity, discipline, peaceful public witness, and moral clarity. There is no financial compensation associated with your participation.
Participant Requirements
To ensure unity, discipline, and a peaceful public witness, all volunteers must agree to the following:
Designated Sign Requirement
- Volunteers are responsible for purchasing their own sign.
- Cost per sign is approximately $25–$30.
- No personal or alternative signs are permitted. No exceptions.
- The sign remains the property of the Gideonite Warrior organization while in use.
- If the sign is returned in good condition after use, the cost may be reimbursed at the discretion of the organization.
- Volunteers are encouraged to pray, seek God, and serve with sincerity and commitment.
- Volunteers should preferably be Bible-believing, Spirit-filled Christians affirming the inerrancy of Scripture and moral absolutes.
- Volunteers do not need to be Christians but must affirm moral absolutes and objective truth that support the mission.
Conduct & Behavior
- Volunteers must be courteous, kind, smiling, and respectful.
- Volunteers must be willing to courteously say: “Thank you”, “Jesus loves you”, “God bless you”.
- Volunteers must not use aggressive, threatening, violent behavior, or foul language. These behaviors will not be tolerated.
Participation & Scheduling
- Volunteers will be assigned to groups of up to 30 per designated street corner.
- Volunteers may choose one day per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
- Commitment requirement: 2 hours per week, 8 hours per month, a minimum 12 months.
- Additional requirement: same day, time, location, and assigned sign each week.
Engagement Guidelines & Age Requirements
- Volunteers are not required to engage in dialogue with the public.
- Volunteers may use the buddy system with approved and vetted individuals.
- Volunteers under 18 must provide a signed parent/legal guardian permission slip.
- Parent or guardian must be present at all times with underage volunteers.
